9-1-1 Emergency Communications

Overview

Union County 9-1-1 provides 9-1-1 and emergency communications service to Union County and a portion of Northumberland County, north of Point Township. The Communications Center’s main responsibility is to dispatch appropriate police, fire, ambulance, rescue, emergency management, local government or support services with the least possible delay after a request is received or a requirement is known to exist and provide appropriate telecommunications services to all field users. The 9-1-1 Communications Center is a division of the Union County Department of Public Safety.
