17th Judicial District
Overview
The Court of Common Pleas is a trial court of general jurisdiction handling all civil and criminal matter. A civil trial term is conducted during each calendar quarter. In addition, it handles child and spousal support matters, child custody matter, juvenile delinquency, juvenile dependency, and Orphan's Court matters.
The 17th Judicial District is a two county, two judge Judicial District.
- The Honorable Harold F. Woelfel, Jr., President Judge Woelfel has his chambers in Snyder County Courthouse in Middleburg.
- The Honorable Louise O. Knight has her chambers in the Union County Courthouse in Lewisburg.
