For several weeks, the Union County Commissioners have been monitoring the status of the CoronaVirus19
through consultation with the U.S. Center for Disease Control, the PA Department of Health, Emergency Management partners and other resources.  This webpage will continue to provide Information to assist the public to personally take steps to reduce the spread of the virus, the status of the virus in our region, and steps to seek medical assistance.

The County has also developed internal protocols to limit County employees' social interactions in order to minimize the spread of the virus while also providing essential county services to minimize and manage the impacts of the virus in our community. 

We encourage County residents to take personal responsibility to limit their social interactions, especially among large groups.  We also encourage residents to stay home if you are sick.  Call your doctor if you develop virus symptoms and have been  out of the country in the past 2 weeks, have been around someone who has been out of the country in the past two weeks, or have been around someone who has been confirmed to have the virus.
