You are invited to attend the Union County Commissioners’ unveiling of the “Union County CARES Small Business/Nonprofit Recovery & Sustainability Fund”. This newly created grant program is funded by the federal CARES Act and distributed to Union County by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). Through the fund, Union County will disburse approximately $2.5 million to eligible small businesses, 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(19) nonprofits for working capital needs and expenses. Businesses adversely impacted by COVID-19 with less than 100 employees will be encouraged to apply. The program was developed in partnership with the Central PA Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way.
